How does it work?

The Kit is designed for flatpack transportation and ease of assembly. It is delivered just-in-time and in sequence to temporary facilities close to or at the final site, where it is easily assembled into volumetric modules. These can be configured into standard or bespoke unit types.

Multi-family residential

Our fast-track service is based on our standard unit types with one, two, or three bedrooms. These highly efficient layouts have passed rigorous fire tests and are designed to provide optimised daylighting, acoustic performance, and ambient temperature control. They form the base library from which TESSA’s algorithms generate design options.

Other asset classes

TESSA can generate design options for a variety of alternative accommodation types, including student, senior living, hotel, and meanwhile housing. The unit types for these asset classes can be configured from the Modulous Kit of Parts by our in-house design team, or systems from other providers can be digitized for use within TESSA. What are the benefits?

1

Standardises the unseen elements of the scheme, ensuring the exterior cladding and interior fit out is fully flexible and can be specified to suit context and budget

2

Designed for ease of assembly and disassembly to support circular lifecycle

3

Designed for flatpack delivery and volumetric assembly local to final site, bringing socio-economic benefits and minimising cost and impact of logistics

4

Procured from a number of approved supplier partners, removing risk of a centralised supplier insolvency
